Regina Molloy is a seasoned mineral exploration geoscientist and mine study manager with three decades of hands-on experience across North and South America, Africa, and Australia. Throughout her career, she has developed deep expertise spanning a broad spectrum of critical minerals, including base and precious metals, energy minerals, battery minerals, and bulk commodities.
Regina's exploration and mine development expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from initial project generation and evaluation through to daily management of exploration and mine development activities. Her experience encompasses due diligence, project potential assessments, Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) and Ore Reserve (OR) drilling and classification, investment critique and recommendations, and a broad range of mine study types.
At both regional and project level, Regina has managed all facets of exploration, including airborne and ground geophysical surveys, seismic surveys, geological field mapping, geochemical surveys, and litho-structural interpretations. She has overseen diverse drilling programs, database management, and project audits and reviews, including the optimization of MRE and OR classifications. Read my article titled Enabling the 5th Explorer Concept in the US, published in Metal Tech News. The article discusses preserving preexisting geoscience data from public lands and routinely publishing. The objective is to help accelerate mineral exploration discovery as a strategy to help reduce critical mineral dependency in the US.
